🔒 Your documents never leave your building

On-premise, offline Bangla OCR

The only Bangla OCR + handwriting AI that runs 100% inside your own infrastructure. No cloud APIs. No per-page fees. No document ever transmitted anywhere.

Why on-premise matters in Bangladesh

The documents that most need OCR are precisely the ones that should never be uploaded to foreign cloud services.

🛡️

Regulatory safety

NID numbers, signatures, financial details — processing them overseas creates compliance exposure no risk committee wants. Local processing ends the question.
💸

No forever-meter

Cloud OCR charges per page, forever — costs grow exactly when your digitization succeeds. A flat license means your millionth page costs the same as your first.
🔌

No vendor cliff

Cloud APIs change prices, terms and availability. Software running in your data center answers only to you.

What a deployment looks like

🖥️

Hardware

One Linux server or workstation with an NVIDIA GPU — hardware you likely already have, or can buy locally for a few months' worth of cloud API fees.
🐳

Install

Docker-based, single command, running the same day. Web interface on your LAN; REST API for your systems.
📈

Scale

Thousands of pages daily on a single GPU. Add machines for more. Fully offline capable, air-gapped if required.
🔄

Updates & support

Versioned releases you apply on your schedule, with rollback. Enterprise support agreements and staff training available.

🧠 An AI that becomes YOUR AI

Because everything runs locally, the handwriting model can be periodically fine-tuned on your own verified documents — on your hardware, under your consent framework. Accuracy climbs on exactly your form types, and the improved model remains your exclusive asset — not a shared cloud service your competitors also benefit from.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does 'on-premise' mean exactly?

The entire system — AI models included — is installed on hardware you own and control: a server in your data center or even a single workstation. Documents are processed locally and never transmitted to any external service.

Does it work without internet?

Yes, completely. After installation, BanglaOCR runs fully offline. Air-gapped deployments for high-security environments are supported.

What hardware is required?

A Linux machine with an NVIDIA GPU (16GB VRAM recommended, e.g. RTX-class), 32GB RAM and Docker. A single mid-range GPU workstation handles thousands of pages per day.

How is it installed and updated?

Docker-based: one command brings up the whole stack. Updates ship as versioned container images and model files that your team applies on your schedule — nothing auto-updates without your control.

Why not just use a cloud OCR API?

Cloud OCR means uploading customer NIDs, signatures and financial documents to foreign servers — a compliance and reputational risk most Bangladeshi financial institutions cannot accept, and a per-page cost that never ends. On-premise removes both concerns.

Can the AI model be customized for our documents?

Yes — that's a unique advantage of on-premise AI: the handwriting model can be fine-tuned on your (consented) document types, on your hardware, so accuracy keeps improving on exactly the forms you process, and the improved model stays exclusively yours.

What about data retention?

You own the storage. Processed documents and results live only on your systems under your retention policies. Nothing is retained anywhere else, because nothing ever leaves.
