1. Who we are
BanglaOCR ("we") provides Bangla document-AI services at https://banglaocr.com. Contact: [email protected].
2. Documents you upload to the free online tool
- Uploaded files are processed to produce your OCR/extraction result.
- Uploads and results may be used to improve and train our recognition models, so accuracy keeps getting better for everyone.
- You can request deletion of your uploads at any time via [email protected].
- We do not sell your documents or their contents, ever.
- Do not upload documents you are not authorized to process.
3. Accounts: Google sign-in and email sign-up
- After the daily free pages, the online tool requires signing in — with a Google account or a free email account.
- From Google we receive only your name, email address and profile picture. We never see your Google password.
- For an email account we store your email address, first and last name, and your password as a one-way Argon2 hash — never the password itself.
- To verify your email and to reset a password we send a one-time code by email through our email provider, Resend. Codes expire after a few minutes.
- If you use both methods with the same email address, they sign in to the same account.
- We use them to identify your account, show who is signed in, apply the free daily page limit, and link your uploads to your account so deletion requests can be honored.
- We do not use your Google account data for advertising and do not sell or share it with third parties.
- To have your account and its data deleted, email [email protected] from the same address.
4. Technical data
Like most websites we process basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security, rate-limiting of the free tier, and anonymous usage statistics. To protect the free tool from automated abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser for signs of a bot when you start OCR, sign in or request an email code.
5. Cookies & analytics
We use minimal cookies necessary for site operation — including a secure sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, and an anonymous cookie that counts your free daily conversion if you haven't signed in — and privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of data associated with you by emailing [email protected]. We respond within a reasonable period.
